I also build editable websites and blogs built using free, opensource, state-of-the-art WordPress software.

The advantage of the Wordpress system is that it's robust, reliable, readily customised and easy to use. Originally developed as a blog, it can be modified to do anything.

It allows you full control over the website, you can type straight into the webpage as you do a Word document from any computer. Clicking Update saves the page to the internet.

The advantages are numerous:

• -> Completely customisably, Wordpress sites can be turned into anything, even online shops
• -> No annual licence fee and no hidden costs

My Wordpress websites come with spam-protection as standard.

PSE approached me having been badly let down by their old webmaster who was no longer returning phone calls or emails and had left a Wordpress design and coding half complete, with none of it's required functionality operational.

The outcome was a website rebuilt and rebranded to cost and to deadline.

Alison wanted a blog to compliment her textile artwork. Part hobby, part job, all fun, it was required to showcase her work as well as those of colleagues and topics of interest.

The resulting website is simple and elegant and shows off photographs in a number of galleries which are user-friendly, search-engine-friendly, and can be quickly uploaded and updated.
